About Me...

I began practicing kung fu in my late teens and have studied the art seriously for over 20 years.  Studying kung fu has changed my life positively in many different ways.  My kung fu journey started with the art of Tsoi Li Hoi Fut Hung, Kung Fu San Soo and from there, the path has taken me to studying Nei Jia Chuan (Internal martial arts).

Nowadays, my focus of study/training is on Tai Chi Chuan, Ba Gua Zhang, Xing Yi Chuan, and Chi Gong.  My focuses in Tai Chi practice are traditional Yang style, Sun style, Competition forms (24,42, etc.), weapons and various Chi gong exercises.  My focus in Ba Gua Zhang (Sha style) is old eight palms (Lao Ba Zhang), linked form, and supplemental exercises.  My Xing Yi Chuan (Sha style) practices include the Five Elements, twelve animals, and Ba Sher Choi.

I believe that studying kung fu is a life long commitment.  I continue to learn and train kung fu principles to improve not only for my self but to share the knowledge with my kung fu brothers/sisters and students.  My goal is to preserve and pass down the art to share the many benefits from studying kung fu.

I want to thank everybody who supported me and continue to help me improve in martial arts.  I feel very fortunate to have met great teachers and friends in the martial arts community, and hope to meet more to build positive camaraderie amongst martial artists in the future.
